Jan. 13, 2017//New Year, New Places//

I am super excited to jump back into this new year with lots of excitement and creativity through my reading, blogging, and writing. Last year, I wrote a post about all the places someone could find me on the internet. Let me tell you, I have gone crazy with social media for this blog and my writing. I have grown and expanded through followers and new platforms. Each platform, I believe, shows a little bit of different sides of me all rooted in this blog. So… I would like to create a new “Where the Heck Do You Find Me?” for everyone. Here we go…

I post all my writings on my Wattpad from the poetry to the prose. Right now, I have 7 published stories with one of them being the “Poetic Anthology of A Writer Named Charley” which is where I post my poems, no matter what. I have some existentialism prose and retellings and short stories. Some of the stories are exclusive to Wattpad, so make sure to check them out and follow for more updates!

I update my Twitter daily, sometimes even during classes. Twitter is my main source for information about books and my blog and everything. Each month (sorry we missed December) I host a chat with Iridescence (@mebeingquixotic) called #BlogRechargeChat where we discuss everything blog-related. Make sure to follow me for funny, sarcastic tweets along with book news I may not have time to post on here.

I feel horrible for my Goodreads because I constantly forget to update the reviews on there all the time. However, I do keep my currently reading up to date as well as my reading logs with ratings.

Pinterest is my every-once-in-a-while platform. Mainly, I go on here for writing prompts and inspiration as well as to share my blog posts and bookstagram pics when I mass upload them at random times during the month. (Sorry, Pinterest.) Also, I make inspiration boards for things I’m currently writing, so it’s a quick sneak peek at things that will pop up later here. Check me out for sneak peeks, y’all.

I started this bookstagram account in June 2016, and did not quite know what I was getting myself into. This year, however, I decided to try some monthly challenges to keep it growing and developing. I would love recommendations for future challenges to participate in. Check out my bookstagram pictures to get a better sense of my creative, amateur photographer self.

I just started Tumblr a few weeks ago, and I’m a little unsure of how to use it still, to be honest. Slowly I am figuring it out for reblogging, commenting (is that a thing?), and all that comes with it. Right now, Tumblr is literally a hub for all my blog posts and bookstagram pictures and more writing/book stuff. Check it out and get some reblogs going!

Book Depository

Technically, you can’t reallyΒ find me on Book Depository, but you can buy through my affiliate link. I will get a percentage of the sales back which will help me to post more giveaways and exciting things here. Also, Book Depository is free shipping to a ton of countries.

I hope you can connect on one of these platforms with me. I love hearing from my readers. This year I hope to connect through all of these platforms.

Which one of these do you use the most? Does Book Depository ship to you? Are you excited for this upcoming year? Let me know in the comments!

Much love, XOXO,

~ A Writer Named Charley~
