April 25, 2016: The Perfect Date

Let’s be honest… we all knew it was coming. I love this movie by the way.

Anyways, on to the updates.

My Weekend:

This weekend I went to my youth group’s spring retreat with no Internet or electronics, so I could not update the blog or respond to your comments right away. Sorry if you commented! I really do enjoy reading all of them and responding. (I think I am all caught up now.) The retreat felt amazing, and I felt super relaxed. We sang songs, played Capture the Flag for four hours straight, went to the local flea market, and paddle-boated!

Changing Tree:

The response to the prologue is amazing! I never expected to get the amazing response I received when I scheduled those posts. I have all the way up to chapter five, and I will need to get to writing the rest of the chapters. (No idea how long it will be.) I hope you continue to enjoy the story! If you haven’t read the prologue yet, click on the right hand side menu where it says “Changing Tree” under “Prose”.

My Busy Future:

I have my two AP exams coming up in the weeks ahead (APUSH next week, English in two weeks), so I do not know how often I will be able to update my blog. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ I do have posts scheduled, though, and hopefully they will last until I can update later on. I always accept guest blog posts (Just check out the page at the top of my blog.) and always open to new ideas!

Much love, XOXO,

~A Writer Named Charley~
